1998 - 'COSTUME IN MALTA'

In March 1998 Patrimonju opened Costume in Malta, its eighth event and a major exhibition displaying three centuries of costumes made or used in Malta. Included were clothing accessories, paintings, prints, books and manuscripts. Costume in Malta produced a record attendance of some 34,000 visitors and enjoyed international acclaim.

The limp bound catalogue is a 72 page reference book to all the exhibits displayed. The entries are in chronological order with references to the fabric, style and technique used in complementing the garment.

A full colour illustrated hardbound publication entitled ' Costume in Malta ' complemented the exhibition.
