Palazzo Falson – Museum policies

MuseUm Policies

We recommend you read our COVID-19 Conditions and Guidelines for Visitors before visiting >>

The Museum attempts to preserve the ambience of Olof Gollcher’s private house, and visitors are therefore asked to observe the regulations necessary for protecting the works of art and their domestic setting. Touching of items on display is prohibited.

Smoking, vaping, eating and drinking is not permitted in the Museum.

Photography is allowed throughout the museum. Photography must be for personal, non-commercial use only. The use of flash, selfie sticks, tripods and camera supports is not permitted.

Because few ropes or glass cases are used to guard fragile objects, only children aged six and over can be admitted to the museum, and those between the ages of six and twelve must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

We provide lockers at the ticketing office for backpacks and small bags (no larger than 30x30cm or 30x50cm). Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate for large bags, suitcases or large items such as prams, pushchairs, bicycles, scooters, etc.

Scooters, roller blades, skateboards or bicycles are not allowed anywhere inside the Museum.

Pets are not allowed entry into the Museum.

All the Museum policies apply at Gustav Café, which is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30am till 4:30pm (last entrance at 4:00pm).

Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum is managed by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti, a non-profit heritage foundation aiming to spread awareness about our heritage through museums, publications, exhibitions and events.
