In 1992 FPM held their first exhibition dedicated to Antique Maltese Clocks, which provided a unique insight to an indigenous clock-making tradition.
The book takes the format of a catalogue raisonné illustrating and giving a historical background to the various types of Maltese clocks exhibited. The clocks vary from the Arloġġ tal-Lira, with its unique niche-like case, decorative motifs and intricate gilding to other well-known immovable types such as the Turret clocks throughout the Island.
