Dr Albert Ganado has just celebrated his hundredth birthday.  We have fond recollections of him as a long-standing and precious member of Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti’s Board.  A generous and prolific contributor to Malta’s cultural heritage, he has been a leading expert in melitensia bibliography and more particularly, in cartography. His twelve volumes of researched historiography have contributed indelibly to profile the history of the Maltese nation.  It is our pleasure and our duty to celebrate this felicitous event.
