The book seminar organised by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti last Saturday, 29th January, was a resounding success.  The authors and editors of the recent publication The Bellanti Family presented their contributions to a packed hall at Palazzo Santa Sofia in Mdina.  Two private collectors who attended the seminar brought forward two very intriguing works by Bellanti, and shared them with the authors and the audience: a large Bellanti print depicting The Bombardment of St Jean D’Acre, and a miniature replica of the central panel of the late medieval polyptych of St Paul at the Mdina Cathedral Museum.  The beautiful weather allowed for a pleasant coffee break in the sun at the Palazzo Falson rooftop café.
