'Mediterraneo: il mare tra le terre' Exhibition

April 12, 2016

'Mediterraneo: il mare tra le terre' is an exhibition currently at Il Frantoio Art Gallery in Capalbio, Tuscany, Italy, featuring photographs of the Mediterranean from a number of contributors from various countries, including Massimo Sestini, winner of The World Press Photo, 2015, with an aerial photograph of a boat carrying immigrants in the middle of the Mediterranean. The aim of this exhibition, which is curated by Dimitri Angelini, Marco Delogu and Maria Concetta Monaci, is of promoting discussion based on the consciousness of the common past of Mediterranean countries.

This exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Comune di Capalbio in collaboration with the European Space Agency, which is providing satellite images, and Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti. Malta is being represented by the works of Kurt Arrigo.

'Mediterraneo: il mare tra le terre' runs until the 15th May 2016.
